Lindsay Williams

Lindsay Williams has served as the administrator and a lead teaching artist for Actors’ Shakespeare Project’s in-school residencies and workshops; after-school, school break, and summer projects; and community programming since 2012. Prior to joining ASP, Lindsay worked for 3 years with Breakthrough Fort Lauderdale, an education nonprofit organization for underserved middle and high school students in her hometown. During that time, she introduced theatre to BTFL’s curriculum, concluding one summer session with a student adaptation of Twelfth Night and overseeing the addition of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Merchant of Venice to all classrooms the following year. She has completed the BEST Initiative’s Youth Worker Training Certificate program, based on the nationally recognized Advancing Youth Development curriculum, and regularly attends local and national workshops/conferences on tenets of creative youth development. Lindsay holds a BA in English from Boston College, where she centered her study abroad experience and senior thesis around Shakespeare, and a Masters in Education from UMass Boston. (she/her)
