Jen Babcock Davis

With a background in arts administration, theatre production, and events management, Jen Babcock Davis’ career has focused on creating and supporting sustainable programs and events that are bothengaging and mission and community driven. She believes that art is an essential piece  to the development of any person, and works to break down the barriers preventing access for all. Jen has worked to use theatre and the arts as a tool for bringing people together, to allow them to express themselves in fun and creative ways, with a particular focus on young audiences. Before diving into a career in arts administration, Jen was a technical director, scenic designer, and props designer for many Theatre for Young Audiences productions across New England.

She previously worked as the Director of Operations and Finance at the Community Art Center in Cambridge, where her primary goal was to systematically structure the budget and spending of the organization to allow for the most opportunity for financially accessible programming, including creating an in-house scholarship program, increasing stipends to teen participants, and supporting free and no cost community art programs for students and their families. Jen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Production from Northeastern University, and a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration from Boston University. (she/her)
